As Pakistan is an over-populated country where average number of children is 7 but resources are lying below the initial line so there is very big number of children working for their own or family’s bread in their innocent childhood and its main reason is poverty, lack of awareness and sensitization. Majority is leading their lives below the line of poverty. It made the parents very rigid and parents seemed that they considered their children as a property having duty to make the parent’s life comfortable.
According to Geo NEWS a reputed TV channel, there is 45% of total school going children are dropped out before their matriculation that increased the number of those children that are known as working children and suffer child labor.
Child labor is not just a labor; it includes child sexual abuse, exploitation and enforcement. All of these three behaviors make them psychologically ill and with the passage of time this one cause gives birth to several social evils and causes which individually grow further.
This day-by-day increasing number is not only indicated the children’s right violation but also producing an alarming situation because bondage and exploitation fill them with anger and revenge so they are more likely to be criminals, child abusers and drug addicts.
On the other hand people who are taking big work on very low rates from children and running their business on these innocent shoulders so both parents and employers have need to be advocated.
Unfortunately matter not ends here, even after sharing all of these things; parents are not able to save their children due to lack of resources and pretend to prove the realities fake. They insist to let them do what they are doing.
